Achieve visibly smoothed skin and minimise pores with this lightweight, mattifying Natural primer. Formulated with Organic botanical actives, the INIKA Organic Matte Perfection Primer controls and absorbs excess oils for perfected skin ready for flawless makeup application.

The soothing blend features Vitamins C and E-rich Aloe Vera, which works to hydrate the skin and aid in cellular renewal, while anti-inflammatory Willow Bark extract calms redness and keeps excess oils at bay, helping makeup last all day.

Housed in a sustainable sugarcane derived recyclable bio-resin tube, the INIKA Organic Matte Perfection Primer is further balanced with antioxidant Liquorice Root. The extract reduces dark spots, redness and inflammation while brightening skin, as Geranium Oil tightens skin and promotes regeneration, diminishing signs of ageing.

    Sounds good, but doesn’t deliver.

    Good news bad news kinda thing. I’ll start with the bad. Supposed to help you stay matte and absorb oil,right? Well when I put this under my baked foundation it looks great at first but after a few hours it actually makes me look super shinny. Way more so than when I just wear the foundation alone.

    Now for the good, this feels like skin care it smells like a n amazing expensive skin care line(rose glow serum) and so I love that. I actually prefer this on its own because it does do a bit for blurring pores around my nose and check area.

    Now even though it makes me shinny for some reason it’s not a super bad thing because it doesn’t break up or separate even around my nose which would typically be the problem area, it sort of just looks like a dewy finish and if you re apply some of the baked powder foundation it looks great and your skin will look matte again so pros and cons I guess? But it effort doesn’t keep your makeup looking matte.

    It’s not a good long wear option but I’ll still use it.

    My new fav

    I haven’t really used primers before but this product has changed my mind. It covers smoothly and feels great on my skin and I’ve found it actually helps my makeup easier to apply and last longer too. I love knowing it’s better for my skin too.
